A Sad Passing… Dr. Bill Pace

Dr. William Eugene Pace passed away on Nov. 10, 2005. Unfortunately, he never had a chance to see the latest edition of Lions Pride, or to read his daughter Carla’s letter. She says that she knows he would have been very pleased, however, since he always spoke so fondly of South and the time he spent there. At his request, a generous donation has been made to the “Roar for the Floor” campaign.

Dr. Pace is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, their six children and nine grandchildren. In a recent tribute in the London Free Press, son Allan spoke of his father’s “passion for life”, as exemplified by his earning his pilot’s licence at age 72, and his retirement (after 48 years as a practising dermatologist) at the young age of 83…
